Privacy Policy
Effective August 17, 2026
DriveLow ("DriveLow," "we," "us") operates drivelow.com, a vehicle-financing and dealer-matching service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide: name, phone number, email address, and home address.
- Application information you provide: vehicle preferences, estimated credit range, down payment and budget ranges, trade-in and vehicle details (including license plate), employment status, income, housing status, driver's license status, and date of birth. We do not ask for your Social Security Number on this site.
- Consent records: the text of the consent you gave, a timestamp, your IP address, browser information, and an independent certificate of your form session (see "TrustedForm" below).
- Technical information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with our forms, including partially completed forms. We use cookies, local storage, and analytics tags (including Google Tag Manager and advertising pixels) for measurement and advertising.
How we use it
- To match you with one or more participating licensed dealerships and transmit your request to them so they can respond.
- To contact you about your request, including by phone, text message, and email, consistent with the consent you provide.
- To operate, measure, and improve our service and advertising.
- To keep records of consent and comply with legal obligations.
How we share it — including "sale" and "sharing"
Our business is connecting you with dealerships. When you submit a request, we provide your information to participating dealerships (and their service providers) so they can respond to you. Because we may receive compensation from dealerships in connection with these referrals, this transfer may be considered a "sale" of personal information, or "sharing" for targeted advertising, under some state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
We also share information with service providers that host our website, store our data, verify form submissions, and provide analytics and advertising services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell information about people we know to be under 16.
TrustedForm
To document your consent, we use TrustedForm by ActiveProspect, an independent service that issues a certificate of your form session. ActiveProspect collects information about your interaction with our forms on our behalf, as described in its own privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of sale/sharing: use the Do Not Sell or Share page.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message. Stop calls: tell the caller, or contact us below.
- Access, correction, deletion: depending on your state (including Utah and California residents), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or receive a copy. Submit a request using the contact below; we will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Retention and security
We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal record-keeping obligations (consent records are retained for at least five years), then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
